Loop & Weft - New and Recent items

We recently received some new t-shirts from Loop & Weft and now have all items, including our past shipment items uploaded to the webstore. A little background on the label, Loop & Weft is a one-man brand who moved his family from Osaka Japan to the mountains of Yamanashi Prefecture so that he could reside with the craftsmen there that for many years have been producing cut-and-sew garments of the highest quality. When developing their original knit fabrics Loop & Weft use only the best organic cottons the world has to offer (which makes up about 1% of all cotton production in the world) together with low impact yarn dyeing, as well as incorporating into some of the fabrics the use of organic and natural dyes, and loopwheel knitting machines. All items are Made in Japan using 100% organic recycled cotton and once washed for comfort. More detailed information on these and each of our new products below.

A note from Loop & Weft on their original Recycled Organic Cotton fabric:

"During the fabric weaving process, cotton fibers are expelled from the suspended circular knitting machines. We recycle these fibers then exquisitely blend them with the naturally brown organic cotton. By reusing this run-off we avoid wastefulness of precious cotton tufts, simultaneously creating an ingredient that adds “slubbiness” and density to our newly developed fabric. The random shape of recycled fibers mixed into the threads results in a natural unevenly textured fabric. As you wear it over time, your t-shirt will gradually reveal the infinite softness of its fabric, and contour to the shape of your body."


LOC1003 - Loopwheel Crew Neck T-Shirt / 100% Organic Recycled Cotton / Color: Natural / $118. The unique armhole construction of this t-shirt allows for better movement as well as a flattering fit.

LOH1004 - Loopwheel 3/4 Raglan Sleeve Henley Neck Tee / 100% Organic Recycled Cotton / Color: Natural / $145.  A vintage Union Special 36200 flat seamer sewing machine is used throughout the construction of this henley t-shirt, and the custom horizontal knit sleeve cuffs will retain their shape over years of wear.

LRC1003 - Crew Neck Raglan Short Sleeve Tee / $88  &  LRH1003 - Raglan Short Sleeve Henley Neck Tee / 100% Recycled Cotton / Color: Ash Grey / $98.  Recycled Supima cotton is mixed into this heather knit fabric creating a natural uneven texture and the unbleached cotton thread yields abundantly soft fabric.

LRC1005 - Raw Edge Crew Neck T-Shirt / 100% Recycled Cotton / Color: Grey / $85.  The fabric edges of the collar, sleeve, and hem openings are left unfinished then a Zig-zag stitch is applied inwards of the edges.

LOV1003 - Loopwheel V-Neck Tee T-Shirt / 100% Organic Recycled Cotton / Color: Herb Green / $118.  Same fit and sleeve construction as the crew neck style and like the henley neck are also constructed using a vintage Union Special 36200 flat seamer sewing machine.

LRC1001 - San Joaquin Recycled Cotton Crew Neck T-Shirt / 100% USA Cotton mix of San Joaquin and Arizona Recycled Cotton / Colors: Antique Black, Natural Ivory, True Navy / $75.  Arizona is known for it's Pima cotton production, as is San Joaquin Valley California where a special upland variety is also produced known as Acala, which is among the highest quality Upland cottons in the world.

Eternal - Charcoal Dyed Tank Tops

New charcoal dyed Tank Tops from Eternal using charcoal dyed yarns of varying shades from light to dark that are woven into three designs;  The Light shade version with subtle hints of darker dyed yarns,  a Darker version with a mix of medium dyed shades, and a Border stripe version which uses a combination of the two. Warehouse Jacquard T-shirts using an original border design created with high slub yarns and woven on a Jacquard loom. Available in a 3/4 sleeve Henley neck style in three colors; Off White, Blue, and Green, and in a short sleeve Crew neck style in Off White. Eternal - Organic Cotton Tank Top T-Shirts

New tank tops from Eternal using 100% Organic Cotton. "Organic cotton is grown without the use of chemicals deemed harmful to people as well as the environment. Samurai Jeans - New and Recent Items

The following are some new and recent items we've received from Samurai Jeans beginning with their heavyweight Indigo rope dyed Henley Tee; made of 100% cotton and featuring Samurai's ninja wabash indigo dyed combo fabric at the front placket with Mother of pearl buttons and cover stitch detailing using 100% cotton heavy gauge sewing thread. This is the same thread used for sewing their heavyweight jeans and they've incorporated this in a dual color detail with the lemon yellow color on the underside:

Other items include these Leather-soled Sandals with Tatami mat insole woven in a braided detail and finished with indigo dyed hickory stripe denim toe straps The outsole is made from fine embossed leather and a layer of wood is used in between for added support,

Heavyweight T-Shirts in five colors; White, Blue, Orange, Green, and Black. Each using high quality 100% cotton in a tube body knit construction with a triple-needle stitched collarband and contrasting white color sewing thread detail on the underside,

100% Cotton Ankle Sox in four colors;  Indigo, Oatmeal, Grey, and Blue with a thick and plush lower half for comfort and sweat absorption and a ribbed ankle opening for a snug fit,

15oz Texas Cotton Selvage Denim Baseball Cap in a simple 6 panel design and a third version Hunting Cap, both cleaned and finished with piped seams on the underside and an inner band lined with Samurai's jacquard cotton pocket bag fabric. The size is adjustable using denim straps with the exposed selvage detail,

10oz Samurai original Selvage denim Western Shirts in two styles; the SWD12-01 style features the arched design on the yokes and pocket flaps along with lemon yellow top stitching while the SWD12-02 style features the angled design on the yokes and pocket flaps and with orange color top stitching. Shared details for both include Samurai original Kimono fabric at the inner collar band, under pocket flaps and under cuffs,  Square shaped Dot snap Buttons,  and exposed selvage at the under placket, cuffs, and pocket openings,

And two outerwear jackets using Samurai's original 100% cotton 10oz Waterproofed Denim and fully lined with Samurai's heavyweight Selvage cotton Chino fabric. The L-2A Flight Jacket features Samurai's original Wool blend ribbing at the collar, cuffs and waist hem,  and Samurai branded Scovill® snaps on the epaulets, pocket flaps, and waist tab.  Other details include 100% cotton heavy-gauge top stitching with orange color thread,  Waldes® military type zippers with semi auto lock sliders at the center front and sleeve pocket,  and Indigo dyed Leather used for the zipper pulls and oxygen mask retention tab.

The Mountain Parka features a combination zipper and button front closure with four front patch pockets also using Samurai branded Scovill® snaps, and Leather accents at the hood rim and cuffs using a natural pale color leather that will darken to a beautiful patina with age and wear.  Other details include adjustable drawstrings with leather stoppers at the inner waist and hood,  adjustable cuff openings with velcro straps,  and the backside has a zippered opening to create a sort of storage compartment between the self and lining.
