Eternal - New, Recent and Re-stock Items

We recently received some new items from Eternal, some more recently than others so stock may be limited in a few of the styles, along with a re-stock of a couple of items. New items include the 888 15th Anniversary Limited Edition Jeans based on the 811 silhouette using Eternal's flagship 14.5oz deep dark 30 times dyed Indigo selvage denim with added details such as an Indigo Dyed Leather patch, Half-lined rear pockets, Wabash printed pocket bag lining at front and rear pockets, and Comes with limited edition Red Eternal bandana.

Recent items we've received include Indigo Dyed Gauze Shirts in Light and Dark indigo, an Indigo Dyed Fleece Cardigan Jacket, the 885 Slim Fit Boot Cut Jeans, an Indigo Denim Cap, Hand-Made Cowhide Leather Bolo Ties in two original designs, and Knitted socks in Melange and combo Stripe colorways. Momotaro - New, Recent and Re-stock Items

New items from Momotaro including the Lot 0702 Deep Indigo x Black Slim Tapered Leg Fit using their 15.7oz Momotaro Original Japanese Selvage Denim made of 100% Zimbabwe cotton with Indigo dyed Warp yarns x Black dyed Weft yarns; a new Purple colorway in their 5oz Selvage Chambray button Shirt; an Indigo Denim Cap with buckled strap for adjustable sizing, and a Re-stock in the 5oz Selvage Chambray button Shirts in Red, Blue, and Black. All items made in Japan and available now in store and online.

Stone Island & Shadow Project - New for Spring

New Ventile® Ghost jackets from Stone Island in Dark Navy and White : Ghost pieces are based on the concept of camouflage and are totally monochromatic. Originally developed in wartime, Ventile® is made in the UK from the finest 100% cotton long staple fibre. Although uncoated and non laminated, its high density weave, as well as the swelling properties of the fibre when wet, provide an excellent weatherproof barrier. Ventile® is an entirely natural product that offers a unique level of comfort as well as being windproof, highly breathable and very durable. Ventile® is still used today by the British Antarctic Survey, NATO pilots, and +8000 metre expeditions. Made in Italy.

From Shadow Project a Teflon® Varsity Blazer in Dark Navy : A hybrid interpretation mixing features of the classic Varsity blouson and of the formal blazer. Beginning with a Japanese polyester/polyamide substrate, garments in David-T are sewn and then simultaneously garment dyed and treated with Teflon® Fabric Protector. During the dye process(130°C), the fabric undergoes heat-induced compression, radically transforming its hand and body. The results are beautiful and wearable garments with a truly unique tactile experience; both industrial and luxurious at once. Made in Italy.

Cotton Jersey Contour Pants in Navy and Grey : Two diagonal front pockets with pull-up zip fastening, Slightly diagonal back pocket with zip fastening, Panel construction on the leg, Zip and finely ribbed cotton band on the bottom hems, Narrow ribbed cotton jersey band with internal elastic band and drawstring at the waist, Fly with hidden white button fastening on the front, Garment dyed. Made in Italy

And a modern interpretation of the classical Harrington blouson in Dark Navy. Also in DAVID-T using a Japanese polyester/polyamide substrate, sewn and then simultaneously garment dyed and treated with Teflon® Fabric Protector. Details include Raised collar with snap fastening, Slit pockets with side zip fastening and large pockets formed by the outer panel in DAVID T, fully lined with light polyester canvas; this construction makes the garment lighter to enhance breathability, Ribbed stretch jersey cuffs, Air vent under the sleeves, and Zip fastening. Made in Italy

Including a Waxed Cotton Duck Canvas Hunting Jacket with with concealable Hood, Corduroy lined collar and hood flaps, Back opening that can be used to store game or unsnapped and used for sitting on, and Samurai original Navajo print inspired woven lining with "Mt. Fuji" theme. 

The S5000AI-OGSP Limited Edition jeans using Samurai's original 17oz Left Hand Twill selvage denim made of 100% certified Organic Cotton and Hand Dyed with Natural Indigo. Details include Lavender color selvage line threads dyed with Shellac, Organic Supima Cotton chambray pocket bags, Gold tack buttons, and packaged in special box.

S0553XX Jean Jacket using Samurai's original 15oz Texas Cotton selvage denim. Available in sizes 36, 38, 40, 42, 44, 46.

And the S5000KA Limited Edition jean using Samurai's original 24oz denim Hand Dyed with Kakishibu, a fermented dyestuff from the juice of unripe persimmons - the first time ever attempted with this heavy a denim.

Studio D'Artisan NY-001 Blue in Green Edition

The NY-001 is a new model we've just introduced and is our first collaboration with SDA. These feature a new silhouette we've designed using a Lower Mid Rise with just a little extra room in the Upper Thigh and a Tapered Narrow Leg opening, similar to our PBJ XX-013/XX-011 silhouette, coupled with SDA's flagship 15oz Deep and Dark Indigo selvage denim. Other custom details include alternating Orange and Lemon Yellow 100% Cotton thread top stitch detailing, Non-mirroring back pocket arches, and Cordovan Leather patch with Gold leaf print. Samurai- S5000BKB Black x Black "Zero" Denim

The S5000BKB is the latest Limited Edition model from Samurai featuring their newest 17oz "Zero" Denim using a Black warp x Black weft weave. Details include Copper rivets, Tonal top stitch detailing, Black coated steel tack buttons, and Samurai's original Jacquard woven Ecru pocket bag lining. The warp and weft yarns are Rope Dyed prior to weaving. Each pair is serial numbered on the patch. Hand Made in Japan and Available in store and online here

Fullcount - New and Recent Items

We recently received a couple of new items from Fullcount including their Slim fit Crew neck Sweatshirts in Grey and Black made of 100% Cotton Loopwheel machine woven Tube Body fleece and features V-Neck inserts with combination ribbing at front and back neck. Also a new Chambray shirt with a Natural color weft for a nice melange effect made of 100% cotton Japanese Selvage chambray with fine tailoring and stitch detailing. Made in Japan. Studio D'Artisan X's-32 Christmas Model

Each year Studio D'Artisan produce a special jean for Christmas time and this years model, the X's-32 marks the 32nd year since their start in 1979. The X's-32 is made of an SDA original 14oz Japanese selvage denim and features a Cinch Back design with details including Herringbone Twill cotton pocket bags and half lined rear pockets, Deerskin leather patch, and Crotch rivet. The jeans come packaged in a special printed box and also includes an SDA original printed bandana. This limited edition model is now available in store and online here 

Momotaro & Blue in Green NI0705SP Slim Fit - Hand Dyed Natural Indigo Denim with 925 Sterling Silver Buttons

The NI0705SP is a new model we've just released in collaboration with Momotaro Jeans using one of their dead stock Hand dyed Natural Indigo selvage denims and produced in a limited edition of 22 pairs. Details include 925 Sterling Silver tack buttons at the Waist and Fly, 925 Sterling Silver posts used on the underside of the tack buttons, Leather patch Hand Dyed in Natural Indigo, and Free option to have one of the rear pockets painted by Momotaro in Japan. 5th Anniversary Party and Charity Event for Kizunaworld organized by Ryuichi Sakamoto

As we mentioned before, earlier this year marked our 5th Anniversary and now we're finally ready to commemorate the occasion and inviting our friends and customers to help us celebrate with a free party and charity event on December 9th from 8pm-12am presented at the new WIP Gallery, located at 34 Vandam Street in lower Manhattan. The evening will begin with music from some guest DJ’s followed by a live performance from Roy Ayers with Japanese imported Sake, Asahi beer, and hors d’oeuvres prepared by an onsite Sushi Chef being served during the early part of the evening. The music will continue throughout the night with DJ performances from Q-Tip and Lord Finesse and a special guest appearance from Black Thought of The Roots, along with other guest DJ’s.

Blue in Green’s 5th Anniversary Party is a joint Charity Event for kizunaworld.org organized by Ryuichi Sakamoto - fund raising project for Japan, and made possible with help from our sponsors: Samurai Jeans, Momotaro Jeans, The Real McCoy's, Studio D'Artisan, Niigata Sake Selections, Backlash by Isamu Katayama, Eternal Jeans, Pure Blue Japan, and Asahi Beer.

While this is a free event we will be working to raise funds for the Kizunaworld charity through suggested donations once inside the venue and we'll have a limited amount of autographed CD's from Ryuichi Sakamoto to give out with donations.
