Donation Sale update and 50% Off Sale reduction - Blue in Green, LLC Cause-Related Marketing Promotion for Hurricane Sandy Relief Efforts

Last year we held a fundraising event to help with the earthquake and Tsunami relief efforts in Japan and with the help of our customers were able to raise and donate close to $6,000 to the American Red Cross to assist in their efforts. In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy which came through the Greater NY region last Monday and is said to have affected an estimated 60 million people along the east coast we've decided to do another fundraising event to assist the American Red Cross in their relief efforts spanning 13 states up and down the eastern seaboard.

Starting today November 8th, we will begin a week long sale in store and online with 25% off on select items and will donate 50% of the net revenue to the American Red Cross in Greater New York. For example, with the purchase of a $200 item, 50% of that amount ($100) will be donated to American Red Cross. This is an authorized and official promotion so you can be assured that 100% of the donation amount will be sent directly to American Red Cross, and since this event was set up for a specific cause, all of the proceeds will go directly to this cause.

The sale will start off with some select items and we'll be adding a few others throughout the week until the end of the sale on November 16th. Nigel Cabourn Collaboration with Eddie Bauer

Nigel Cabourn's second season of collaboration garments using Eddie Bauer’s vintage museum of great American outerwear dating back from 1920. This years collection is based on Eddie Bauer’s famous hunting and fishing clothing from the 1940s and 1950s. From this collection we have the Kara Koram Camo Parka and Canadian Camo Vest both constructed of 100% Heavyweight Waxed Cotton with Goose Down Fill, 100% Cotton Body Lining, and Orange 100% Wool Lining in the Hood and Pockets. New Pure Blue Japan - Cobalt Denim

New from Pure Blue Japan (Syoaiya) is their Cobalt Denim which features weft yarns that have been rope dyed with cobalt blue dye. We're offering them in two different fits, our original XX-013 slim silhouette design (XX-017) and in the standard PBJ slim straight XX-005 silhouette (XX-018). Details include Black Rivets and Tack buttons, Black pocket lining, and tanned Deer leather patch. Both styles are available in Raw & One Wash and from sizes 27-38, in store and online HERE
